2020-06-27->29 We take Zoe to Pinchinthorpe and Saltburn for walks, Lingdale to see Rod and Wendy

On Friday, we drove to Pinchinthorpe for some exercise and for me to try driving the Zoe up Flatts Lane!

After our walk, I emptied the Recycling Bin, then put my recently arrived #RZOCTeamBlue sticker from Renault Zoe & ZE Owners Club.





For lunch, we had a Chicken in Pitta with Salad and Vegetable Crisps.

Then for dinner, we had Fat Free Cottage Cheese with Pineapple on Ryvita Fruit Crunch Crispbreads with Care (Pom) Bears Crisps.

On Saturday, I had Scotts Porage Oats with Blueberries (in from the start) and Banana (Mashed and layered on at the end) for breakfast.

After breakfast, I located some wireless networking equipment Rodney could make more use of than I could and Christine and I took it up to Lingdale, via Birk Brow (steep hill) to meet with Rodney and Wendy who we haven’t met since lockdown began.  We sat in our Camping Chairs in their back garden (now covered in decking) with our raincoats on for the occasional light showers.





For lunch, we had Warburtons Giant Crumpets.

Before lunch I heard thunder and lightning outside.  When I looked again after lunch, it was raining quite hard!





For dinner Christine made a delicious Salmon Fried Rice.

For supper we had McVities Trio chocolate biscuits (5 SP, 124 kcal).  Christine added 2 Asda Rich Teas for 2 SP and I had a Cranberry Oaty Biscuit for 86 kcal.

On Sunday, after a Yoghurt Breakfast (Asda 0% Fat Greek Style, with left over Strawberries), I found my hearing aid brush that’s been missing a few days.  Then we had toast with Robinsons Golden Shredless Marmalade on Christine’s and the remains of the Hartleys Blackcurrant Jam, and some Golden Shredless Marmalade on mine.





Then we took a chance on the weather and drove to Saltburn, so I could take the Zoe down Saltburn bank (1 in 4).  After walking in Saltburn’s Italian Gardens, and playing Poo Sticks off a low footbridge,





we drove back via Skelton and the A174

For lunch, Christine made Turkey Mince Spaghetty Bolognese for 9 SP and 369 kcal.

During and after making the lunch, Christine baked two fruit cakes with sultanas.  One, she broke up into pudding pieces and we had with ice-cream for our Afternoon Snack.
