2018-07-31 Harrogate Day 4 – Valley Gardens
Today, Christine and I walked into Harrogate, visited the Royal Pump Room Museum, which houses the famous Sulphur and Iron water wells, then walked into Valley Gardens for a very enjoyable wander round.
Tower Ballroom
We’re in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom at the moment. Famous in ballroom dancing circles and Home of the Mighty Wurlitzer. Going to the Tower Circus at 2:30 BST. Won’t be able to video much there, but we love Mooky the clown.
Trip to Crewe (NOT a Hot Air Balloon Flight)
Yet again, the flight was cancelled. We found out at Birch Services over lunch, but carried on to the hotel, shopped in Crewe then had dinner in the Duke of Gloucester Pub, over the car park from our Travelodge.
A Morning Stroll by the Canal
This time we went the other way…We both think this house is revolting!More strimming swans this morning. Privately moored Boat Christine likes. Interesting plant in abundance.
